My new piece for Clarinet and Laptop will have its premiere outing at the Electroacoustic Wales Concert on Thursday 23rd April 2015. It’s an improvisational duet between Clarinet and Laptop using much the same generative software as I wrote for “Exploration” – my flute piece played at INTER/actions in Bangor last year.
The piece will be performed by Hephzibah Leafe on Clarinet and me on Laptop and iPad.
The gig is at Reichel Hall, Bangor University starting at 20:00.
“Once Below A Time” will be playing at Goldsmiths College in London from the 18th to 20th April. This is also part of the Sonorities festival, and my piece will feature in the same program as at SARC. The program will run daily from 15:00 to 18:00 in the Sonic Immersive Media Lab, St. James Hatcham, Goldsmiths, University of London, SE14 6NW.
My eight-channel fixed media piece, “Once Below A Time” will be playing during the Sonorities festival at SARC, Belfast as part of a rolling program of multi-channel works. These can be heard in SARC Surround Room 1 from 22nd to 26th of April.
I have a gig on Thursday, January 8th playing “In Flight” on the Bristol University Loudspeaker Orchestra as part of the Royal Musical Association’s postgraduate conference. The concert starts at 8pm in the Victoria Rooms and is open to the public as well as to conference delegates.
There will be a performance of the 60×60 surround 2014 program, including my piece November, in Seattle on 29th October. The gig is at Jack Straw New Media Gallery, 4261 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle and it runs from 19:00–20:00 PDT. Entry is free.

My latest piece, Once Below a Time, will premiere at the Electroacoustic Wales concert in Reichel Hall, Bangor University on the evening of Tuesday October 28th.
I’m going to be playing “Only Now” in an afternoon concert on Wednesday 17th September at the Onassis Cultural Centre in Athens. This is as part of the joint 40th International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) and 11th Sound & Music Computing conference (SMC) running from 14 to 20 September.
The gig starts at 16:40 local time.
Two of my pieces will be included in the forthcoming Toronto International Electroacoustic Symposium (TIES) which runs from August 13 – 17.
“Only Now” will be played in concert and I will play “In Flight” as part of a lecture-recital focussing on AudioSprayGun.

Next weekend (04.-06.07.2014, 4-10pm), they’re doing it all again at James-Simon-Park, Berlin Mitte.
I’ve had more news from Urban Solar Audio Plant. “In Flight” (12 channel version) will be playing between 16:00 and 18:00 on Thursday 19th June 2014 at Aufbau Haus am Moritzplatz, Berlin Kreuzberg. This will be the first of three nights featuring multichannel audio works and soundscapes of 50 composers from 20 countries. C60 collaboratorium have also scheduled two more three night performances as follow:
27.-29.06.2014, 4-10pm, Tempelhofer Feld, Entrance Oderstraße, Berlin Tempelhof.
04.-06.07.2014, 4-10pm, James-Simon-Park, Berlin Mitte
